Project Rachel Event: Everybody Hurts...Jesus Heals

Abortion is hurting women and men right here in Northwest Missouri. We need to let them know help and healing is available. Our silence will not help them. Come and learn about how to help those around you who have been hurt. Please invite your pastor as well. Here's the details:

In Nodaway County, Nearly 10% of pregnancies end in surgical abortion.* With over 3,000 abortions every day in the United States, chances are good we will encounter someone who has been wounded by abortion.

Tri-County Right to Life is hosting a free one-hour presentation to promote awareness of Project Rachel, a healing ministry for those suffering the effects of abortion. Pat Klausner, Project Rachel Program Director, will speak about this ministry. We will also hear from a post-abortive woman who has been helped by Project Rachel.

6:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, September 28, 2010.

At St. Francis Hospital (Franciscan Room), 2016 South Main St., Maryville, Missouri.

Parade Float Celebrates Champions for Life

For more than a decade, Tri-County Right to Life has been entering a float in the annual Nodaway County Fair Parade. This year, our theme was “Champions for Life” and we were pleased to welcome and honor 16 year old Matt Ziesel as our special guest champion for life. Matt has Down Syndrome and he’s a Benton High football hero. He scored a 60+ yard touchdown last year against the Maryville Spoofhounds. Read about the touchdown and see a video on Life Site News and see a story about our parade float and Matt's story at the Maryville Daily Forum.
A big thanks to Matt as well as his mom, dad, and sister for making this year’s parade so awesome! And thanks to the 30+ volunteers who participated in our float this year—a record number by far. We were able to hand out more than 1300 life saver candies attached to cards with help numbers and over 350 flyers about our Project Rachel post-abortion healing awareness event coming up September 28, 6:30-730 pm at St. Francis Hospital in Maryville.
